IMPERIAL COLLEGE OF SCIENCE TECHNOLOGY AND MEDICINE
(IMP) will be the leader of WP1 (Catalyst Development and Poisoning Mitigation). IMP has over
fifteen years of experience in the development of catalysts for fuel cell and other electrochemical
systems and the development of new electrochemical characterisation techniques, and reduction
of poisons in operating systems. IMP has developed key approaches to studying current
distribution within operating electrochemical power systems. Recent work has focused on cleaning
fuel cell electrodes which have been exposed to deleterious poisons.
